These are one of my favorite projects as they are individually unique and tickle my creative drive, which is a treat within itself. Each step in assembly is contemplated, as they are built along the way, to form a beautiful and functional piece of art that will make using it a joy.

Spoons are made with the same durable stoneware clay as the rest of my work but are more delicate by nature of size. Care should be taken to assure your functional art will last you a very long time. Hand washing and gentle storage is recommended.
For the glazes I utilize my own ash glaze recipes that I spent a year harvesting and burning different wood types to harvest ash that was then tested and retested to find a hand-full of perfect glazes. The testing is ongoing so there will be more over time, but I have enough in my arsenal at this point to create a variety of glaze colors in my pottery.
This means you are getting a very unique piece of functional art bearing my mark from start to finish. I hope you love them as much as I do!
