These mugs are a representation of my growth in clay. As with all my work designs and styles are ever evolving as my skills and taste evolve. These current styles are exclusively hand-built with a unique handle that is very ergonomic and makes for a comfortable grip when filled with the beverage of your choice.
Microwave and dishwasher safe they are very durable but, as with all things, the gentler you care for it the longer it will last.
For the glazes I utilize my own ash glaze recipes that I spent a year harvesting and burning different wood types to harvest ash that was then tested and retested to find a hand-full of perfect glazes. The testing is ongoing so there will be more over time, but I have enough in my arsenal at this point to create a variety of glaze colors in my pottery.
This means you are getting a very unique piece of functional art bearing my mark from start to finish. I hope you love them as much as I do!
