My most favorite part of working in clay is the creation process. This means I tend to get bored with one style or glaze pattern and before you know it... I'm off to the next design! I think this is good for the people that follow my work and support me because they can always find new and exciting pieces when they come to see me. Its great for me since it obviously feeds my creativity and gives me opportunities to push the boundaries of my skills and imagination.
In the attached video you will see how I built my round bottom mugs with the unique curled handles. The handles were not only an interesting feature but also turned out to be super comfortable in the hand and on the wrist as well. Its really cool when design offers itself to beautiful functionality!
